Triple + Error seems right there. Was a weird bounce off the angled wall that the fielder didn't have a real chance at, but it seemed like he should have the ball right as they changed camera angles, and Farmer would have made 3rd almost certainly, but the bobble gave him the extra base.

I'm with Laudner on this one. The ball escaped the fielder's grasp after it came off the wall a second time.
I don't think a player should be expected to field a random deflection cleanly and therefore should not be charged with an error in this case.
That's a load of BS. Once you go to Alcala for the 7th you already know that Jax or someone else will be throwing the 8th. If it takes them 10+ minutes to get loose, then they should've been throwing before the inning even started.

I don't think I have seen a MLB team routinely use a "have a back up RP always warming up" as a general strategy, especially since any Relief Pitcher has to stay in for 3 batters so you cant pull the plug immediately anyway. I think there are some "Rubber Arm" type guys who are known for being able to go in with minimal or no warm up but I don't think that applies to any of the Twins RPs.
To me it makes sense that the time line limited Rocco's options, but perhaps he would of done the same even if he did have a pitcher ready go in. In any case Alcala was the one that underperformed and I would put 95% of the blame on him. If you want to throw 5% towards Rocco's bullpen management you could, but overall this season I cant complain too hard about the results of the bullpen. They are ranked 14th in the MLB in bullpen ERA and given the bare bones financial investment in the bullpen talent that doesn't seem too bad to me.
Tomorrow the Twins face Sonny Gray. If there was ever a sure thing in sport betting, this is it. Lay your next paycheck on the cards for the money line.

Twins down 4-0 rally, now 4-3, nobody out, now 3 outs. Pop up, K & K. And Kepler (still) SUCKS!. Twins scratch out run in 8th. tied 4-4. Going for walk off win in 9th with Lewis at bat, he K’s, now Keplar up, he flys out…going into 10th
Somehow he has a BA around 0.250, but I don’t recall a decent cut all year.
i saw a game a few days ago where he got a couple of hits but one was a blooper and the other was a broken bat. Both dropped just short of the outfielder.
Nobody seems to have a problem hitting Duran tonight.
These guys appear cooked again at the most important stretch of the season. Easy outs becoming less routine in the field and quality at bats are getting fewer and farther between.
It couldn’t get worse. Don’t get me wrong, I like Duran, but he was throwing 101+ and hitting the edge of the strike zone and the Braves were having no issue hitting the pitches hard.
Wow, didn’t get a chance to watch Twins on tv for 3 months with BSN/Comcast fiasco. Can’t believe the regression by Duran…WTF? Looks like he’s lost all his swagger…
