Wouldn’t be Kessel level imo

Once again assuming it’s all fake until it happens

Edit: referring to Stramel

Kessel level and since Kessel don't mean the same thing

Biggest coup SINCE Kessel. That wouldn't necessarily mean Kessel level. You'd have to biggest coup after him which would be what, Ranta? If you're talking about flipping someone. Many flips could be above Ranta level. Isaac Howard, etc. Some people would put Maddox Fleming above a Ranta level flip.

Basically, could be one of like 25 players.

Howard, Fleming, and Stramel signed their NLIs. So did Adam Fantilli, who I also thought to check.

You are the one that appears to have taken it from "biggest since Kessel" to "Kessel level" by repeating that

If I’m being cryptic, it’s not to be coy. Don’t wanna jinx it or ruin news that is not mine to share. But I am extremely excited, hence my posting. But it’s 90% there, if not done all the way.

I heard we are a long shot, but in the mix. Would be epic to land him. I think Ohio State is most likely.

Anybody know anything about this kid? Any interest from Mn? Just broke Mike Brodzinski's school record.

Cy Young stat line. If they want him he must be a good one. Pehrson looked like a really pure skater out there this weekend and Hallum is ripping it up. Becker never panned out for them.

I like that he's 6'4". Gopher goaltending almost always lacks NHL goalie level size. And yes, I would love to have Moe on the team still.

Any info on Croix Kochendorfer? Not a "hockey insider", but a 6'4" unsigned NAHL goalie from St. Paul piques my interest

Now that they got Moore, who is next on the wish list besides Cooley (which I don't think will happen)?

Hendrickson?

Musser?

Baer?

Sawchyn would be nice but he has UND written all over him

Unless Hendrickson already accelerated he can't commit until August of this year.

At the risk of brining up an unpopular (or popular I guess) name, Finn Brink is another one that probably isn't going to get the "first round pick" accolades but is going to be a hell of a college player.

Harper Searles is another kid off the Blades 15U team to watch. He's drafted by Chicago in the USHL which is usually a usually bodes well for the kid's future.

Logan Hensler from Hill-Murray seems like he is going to be a premier recruit, though he is a ways off from being able to commit anywhere as a freshman.

I've caught two or three HM games this season and have come away impressed with Hensler each time. He looked more like an upperclassmen to me with how patient he was with the puck in the d-zone with really strong reads and overall just has a very simple but effective play style. Another obvious plus is his size/build, where as a freshmen he doesn't need to grow at all in the next four years and will be fine at the next level size-wise.

I heard on a podcast that Coach Motzko was spotted at the Roseau vs. Warroad game last week, who do we think he was scouting? Max Strand? Noah Urness? Maybe Carson Reed?

Strand was a gopher fan at one point in his life

Not able to commit for a couple years but Carson Pilgrim and Murray Marvin-Cordes are two names I’ve heard a lot for Warroad

The HS hockey podcast mentioned Hensler awhile back and Tony Scott said he could tell you where Hensler will go to school today. He obviously grew up a huge fan of some school, my guess would be MN or WI.

It’s another Big 10 school that brings in a lot of talent that he’ll end up at.

Michigan connection? Or I guess Notre Dame makes sense from the private school aspect. That sucks

Nvm it’ll be Michigan.

If Hensler continues on his current trajectory, he may never play college hockey.

Conrad Fondrk is an ‘07 to keep in mind…although I don’t know if he plans to play college hockey. He has the best hands I’ve ever seen!

Cole Bumgarner is another name for way down the road ... he's an 8th grader playing varsity defense for Shakopee. 15 points in 20 games.

Cooper Simpson played his youth hockey for MN Made Machine Orange. He’s a terrific player with a wicked shot and an even more wicked mean streak! (Borderline dirty player!)

Two things. If you're saying Hensler might be good enough to go straight to the show I'd say pump the brakes. Not even Eichel did that.

As far as the other kid, why in the world did he head out to Rhode Island?
