What's St. Clown going to be like this season?
Should be same old Cloud. Always feisty, never a push over. All their top scorers will be underclassmen which would make me cringe a bit if I were a Husky fan. Losing Peart and Anhorn on the back end is hard to replace too.
I’ll be watching a different MN team suffer to another “USC” (yest, I get it’s SCSU vs. USC, close enough).

Only exhibition, but it's important to get off to a good start. This will be a really good test, St. Cloud is a tough place to play.

Four of St. Cloud State's top six goal scorers from last season are gone. Anhorn and Peart are also gone. Should be a fun game no doubt, but the Gophers should handle them.
Since this is an exhibition, both coaches have opportunities to focus on line combos and X's and O's without worrying about the score. I would expect that kind of game.
They haven't been practicing very long, but I'm anxious to see the new faces.

Then #4 for St. Cloud takes a cheap shot at Koster after he had already skated way away from the goal/crease right in front of the ref. No call.

So they couldn’t find the right button to play the national anthem so after a couple tries and some silence the student section just started singing. They let it go a cappella, it was pretty cool.
