Even my wife who isn’t the biggest hockey fan, commented a couple times last night that the gophers power play looked lost and predictable. I mean from what we could see, I felt like I needed to use binoculars to see the puck on tv. I don’t think the advanced AV class at Michigan has gotten to the chapter on camera zoom.
I do believe that the Gophers are getting better, I feel like they will start playing their best hockey at the right time of year. Go Gophers!
I was thinking I was the only one that thought that. He has a fantastic shot but...... where is the rest of his game? Your line mates cannot just serve up the puck on a platter. The whole line needs to work. He will figure it out, just had a pretty sweet set up last year. The no look passes, behind the back crap also is not helping us. Solid fundamental hockey philosophy with our talent level should be a recipe for success. They just need to buy into it.
Yes, it is frustrating to watch him away from the puck but I'm sure Bob realizes it and I'm hopeful that Snuggy will realize it is only going to benefit him in the long run if he will put more effort into becoming a 200 ft player.
Snuggerud will need another year at the U. After 4+1 against UST, he has 2+1 since.
I agree that Snuggerud should stick around another year. In my opinion his skating needs to improve.
Don’t be surprised when Snuggy signs with the Blues at seasons end. Kids got a phenomenal shot…he’s progressing fine, it’s not like he’s playing on a line with two first or second line NHL caliber players (like last year).

I realize the current game is important but a coach's job is to built the team through the season. He wants to instill good habits. If a player is not playing the right way benching him is the best tool you have. Plus often times when the player gets a chance to play later he ends up playing better. This isn't coaches first rodeo he knows what he is doing.
