What? Gophers didn’t win the Vegas extravaganza? Had to of been the sub-par arena ice conditions, Omaha knows how to play in them better? I foresee the Dogs squeaking out an OT pairwise tie & correspondingly (meaningless) win in an annoying SO to avoid the 🧹 😉

The Gophers will dominate the games this weekend. Will they win both? Never easy there. Should have won both last year as they were the better team both nights. I would predict split but wouldn’t be surprised if the Gophers sweep.

Doubt it, but if the Gophers are serious about snapping droughts in 24-25, might as well start with the one up North (requiring one) as opposed to 4 straight. I do see Gophers snapping (that one) this weekend, re-refreshing having a regular 2 game home series.

I swear the kids and parents in front of us last season thought they won the Stanley Cup after "winning" the meaningless shootout in Duluth. I cannot wait until a team losses their $h!t when a player or goalie gets hurt during a non-conference shootout that means nothing.

I believe it will be similar to the SCSU broadcast. They are picking up the feed from Duluth. It will not be like a home game broadcast.
Still fine with me. It's on tv and I don't have to look for alternate ways to see the game.
Completely agree on the TV Front. Glad it is on, and I appreciate the willingness of local channels like Fox 9+ to increase their coverage on college hockey. They saw an opportunity to fill a gap left by Fox Sports North/Bally's and have done an good job thus far. Given that they want to now have a pre-game show, its nice to see the investment in local sports. I am always happy when we are on tv and stopped complaining long ago about what channel.

No, it is not on tv. I've never heard of this, what is fox9+? Local public service station? University student project?
If Gopher hockey were on tv I could watch with anywhere in the state with Dish, DirecTV or Spectrum. Correct?
Yup. Doesn't help us who live outstate. In the past Duluth station usually picked up the home games against Gophers but doesn't look like that is the case this year. NCHC streaming maybe prevent that? I miss the years of games always being on stations available statewide without having to subscribe to multiple streaming services. It seems like the easier it is for MN kids to watch Gophers should only help with recruiting in their future. At least I am going on Sat so will see one of the games.

per my YTT it is on Fox9+ but may be blacked out in Duluth? Up in Duluth right now and Mine is showing it will record but that I can't watch it live (Going to the game so doesn't really affect me, but seems like may have to be watched on cable?)
