Jup with the tease!
With the forward pipeline very full, I have to imagine it’s a current recruit, a transfer with 1-2 years left or high end 1 and done (still dreaming). I’d be surprised if they added anyone with 4 years of eligibility.
current recruit that would make the most sense to me is Jackson Nevers. He plays the type of game that would fit with competing on the 3rd/4th line and obviously bleeds maroon and gold. Seems he could accept that role better than anyone else in the pipeline.
It appears it wouldn’t be Jackson Nevers (my wild speculated guess).

If I want to really throw something out there, Kvasnicka never officially signed in Penticton to my knowledge.
They could also be waiting for a late transfer or a player that gets cut from the NHL very early in the year.
Definitely could be. Just seems like the forward pipeline is already relatively crowded in future years and adding a “new” 3-4 year player just doesn’t seem to make sense.

late transfer would almost certainly not be a 4 year guy. Same with someone trying to play pro and still in contention now as they’ll be leaving after well less than a full 3-4 years
No one in the portal right now is worth the time of day
i agree. I was more alluding to that a transfer would not be that many years. I would kind of doubt they take a new 4 year commit (if they haven’t enrolled they aren’t a transfer).
I’m not really holding my breath this would be an impact guy but if it is it would be most likely a CHLer
