It boggles my mind that the U does such a poor job of offering up replica sweaters - especially when they absolutely NAIL one like the skating Goldy and it's clear that the fan reaction on SM is off the charts positive. Maybe it's similar at other programs for hockey?
The "U" has been an absolute cesspool with merchandise the last 10-15 years. It's embarrassing for a college like Minnesota. Goldy's Lockeroom use to be great, but the stores are becoming fewer and fewer and less and less Gophers merch. Plus, the "U" sold their souls to Fanatics, which is utter garbage.

Credit where credit is due, they sell the New Jerseys in the store at the arena. Sid they’d have the 3rd next year.
The complaint is that they're replicas, and not really faithful replicas at that. They're better than they were a few years ago, but still not really all that good. Also, the colors of a lot of the other merch have been way off, but that's starting to get better now, too (but still not very good).
What a lot of us here for sure would like would be to get authentic jerseys. But, between Nike not wanting to make them, and the U somehow afraid they wouldn't sell, they're impossible to get.
