Westside Fishwrap says he is in jail right now?
Per the Hennepin County Sheriffs jail roster he was arrested on the Feb 15th on a warrant and released on the 16th. He had a court date today.

Not trying to make a moral judgement or anything but does he really need to drive in Maple Grove to get around? Uber and Lyft aren't as cheap as they used to be but you're basically paying for $10,000 worth of DUI insurance (last I heard that's the average cost when you add it all up). No idea what public transit is like there but guessing it's an option. Ideally he gets the treatment he needs but driving is a whole separate thing especially when you have a drinking problem (most people with 4 DUI's aren't casual drinkers so I'm speculating here). Doesn't sound like anybody got hurt at least, hopefully he learns and this is the last we hear about this.
Addiction is a tough thing. I had someone in my orbit that had multiple DWI's throughout his life. He ultimately kept driving and did not have insurance. Telling someone that they no longer can drive is a very difficult thing, as it is taking away their independence, even though there are plenty of options out there like mentioned above. It amazes me when high profile people like actors, musicians or pro athletes, who can easily afford a driver gets a DWI. I hope Riddle gets the help to deal with his demons.

Part of the answer to the question raised above is that when you’re drunk you don’t think you’ll be caught. The brain will do some amazing gymnastics in that state to tell you you’re fine.
I have one buddy who got his 3rd DUI and decided to move downtown and only venture outside that area (for nightlife purposes) if someone gave him a ride. Dude is definitely an alcoholic but at least he (eventually) had the foresight to make a change. A friend of mine won the Faber jersey a couple months ago and finally got it back today after getting it framed.
it back today framed… Looks pretty good.
It’s not a game worn is it? I’ve seen a few auctions with Faber jerseys that are really bad knockoff maroon and gold colored. That one looks decent.

This guy here, knowing him he was at well established event with the auction and won it. He also texted me shortly sending the pic today. At least 2 came into the before he could pick it up offering to buy it.

My brother in law won this team poster of the 2004-2005 team (autographed) and framing in 2005 at a silent auction during a golf charity event. They gave it to me for my birthday. He paid the opening bid of $100. It’s hangs in the Gophers room at my house. Pretty sure you’re seen it. You can get good deals at silent auction if you are amongst a crowd that’s not interested in stuff you are.

I had the '96-'97 team poster and one of the players signed it with a pencil... Don't recall the player who signed it in pencil. I sold it and put up the '96-'97 unsigned poster. Kinda wished I would've kept it for conversation starter.

What a gut punch. Had him in a class at the ‘U’ after I graduated (to keep my football and hockey student tickets) and he was a Fr. Just like yesterday finding out a patient that I have gotten to know, haven’t seen, passed away. Just a gut punch.

@gator A quick google search I did, shows a Matt Leimbek, from Maple Grove that passed away two days ago. A Maple Grove High School student, so not the same Matt Leimbek. Unless, coincidentally, they both passed at the same time.

Those who attempt to compare Oliver Moore to Cooley are clueless, when the only comparable is skating ability. True, but Blake has had a solid NHL career to this point, and last time I checked, ya gotta perform at an NHL level to stick, no matter what round your drafted in or if your an undrafted free agent like Lizotte was. My point is (and I’m not trying to be a troll or piss anyone off with my take) is that Moore’s skill set appears to me much closer to what Lizotte brings to the table (which is solid) 374 games played, 46 goals, 78 assists, 124 points (to date) than what Cooley brings to the table (which is ELITE) and that would be fine for Moore (IMO) if that’s what he achieves down the road.Having a career like Blake Lizotte as a first round pick is probably not the hope or expectation lol.Logan Cooley has special talent. This actually did happen when Moore was coming in. People on here were saying he could replace Cooley's production.
Seems weird to say, but Cooley seemed to be a bit underrated by this fanbase. He's one of the better Gophers I've ever seen, albeit for just one year.
