I've been wanting to play Michigan for a NC since they beat us at Mariucci in the B1G title game.
I think that would be an entertaining game with both teams wanting to skate up and down the rink and imo are the top 2 teams in the country.
Lockdown 3d period after BU went all out in the 2d. In person, it seemed that Gophers completely controlled the 3d, but maybe BU lost steam.

When is the last time you saw a team this good? This might sound like hyperbole to people but it is the best Gopher team in my time as a Gopher fan (basically the past 40 years).
I realize people will disagree especially if they lose on Saturday but winning by far the toughest conference in the county by more then 6 games is very telling.
Past National Championship teams didn't dominate the best conference like this team did.
Can't ever fault the kids effort, and he did make a handful of nice plays taking the puck to the net. Now I've got 3 hours for my pulse to come back to normal. I've never seen a team play so well and have every break go against them. Good to see them perservere.
Oh, and on the second disallowed goal the camera from in front of the net clearly showed white ice between the puck and the line. Did the refs not get to see that view?
Knies played a dominant game. BU couldn’t take the puck from him and had to over commit to defend him, I agree he isn’t 100%. But I’ll take on Saturday what he did today. Also hockey is sometimes a game of bounces and puck luck. Throngs are going to change for him, I can feel it
