There’s some puck luck. Nevers baby
Would be real nice to convert this momentum into one more before period end
I chuckled when the PSU center got thrown out of the dot and Pahlsson lost the faceoff cleanly to a winger.BREAKING NEWS: Minnesota fires brand new face off specialist after coaching staff feels like they have contributed enough for the year.
I don't know much of anything about hockey strategy, so it says something when I fear every defensive zone face off...

No idea what happens on This as a goal if they give chesley a major
The Penn State player just ran into his stick... I don't think he was even LOOKING at the player.
That is some major bullshit and my god they need to change that rule
Home ice cooking
Keep your stick on the ice...
That is one of most ridiculous calls I’ve ever seen in a hockey game. Stoopid.
It’s not our fault that guy was short.
That is a weird rule to say the least.
Sorry for the ignorance while traveling. Can, or what do the Gophs need to do today with MSU winning?
Hard work will beat talent, if talent doesn't work hard.
They don't reset the time for other majors. Why would they reset it here?
DiMarsico 2-2, PPG.

Win in regulation.
If Penn state had scored would the goal come off? That's bullshit.
I might turn this off..total bullshit
That is so bad man. unbelieveable
End of 2, tied at 2.

For seeding, we're hosting Notre Dame next weekend no matter what happens.
For the conference season championship, we win a share if we win in regulation.

Gophers should come out pissed as hell and just keep scoring. I hate blaming refs but when there’s an 8” height discrepancy and Rudy tries to tangle with someone else sorry, but his head is just going to bounce off the guys elbow. He probably does this on purpose to draw penalties.
Your guess is as good as mine, knowing big ten refs they might not even have the rule understood/applied correctly lol (I assume they got it right though because that would be egregious even by their standards). If Penn state had scored would the goal come off? That's bullshit.
As much as that call irks me there were at least two instances this game where a gopher player beat their D and got taken down from behind for no call negating a scoring chance.
If Penn state had scored would the goal come off? That's bullshit.
It would have been a good goal and the penalty would still stand.
it happened to the Gophers the first year the final five was at the X like in 2001 vs. SCSU
Keep your stick on the ice...
It’s not our fault that guy was short.
Chesley is 7 inches taller and the OSU player skated into him and fell down. Chesley didn’t even have both hands on his stick. I get that Guy challenged it but making that call and the repercussions is garbage.
So you can skate with your head down and run into someone and that’s a 5 and a game. But after the whistle at the net you can come up and punch/push a guy in the head and nothing is called? So inconsistent and pathetic.
Yeah I wish Chesley was an emotionless robot who didn’t retaliate but this is a hockey game between human beings and he was defending himself against a smaller player. Their guy gets pushed and decides to come back for more and paid the consequences ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. This is a bigger issue in youth hockey where the size differences can be pretty big and bigger guys often get called for standing there.Gophers should come out pissed as hell and just keep scoring. I hate blaming refs but when there’s an 8” height discrepancy and Rudy tries to tangle with someone else sorry, but his head is just going to bounce off the guys elbow. Check #18. A reviewed penalty I think is considered a delayed penalty call.
They are wrong
B1G refs... corrupt, or just incompetent?

Yeah, if they hadn't called a major on it, the goal would have stood.AR3. They got it right if it was a major. Shit.

Team A possesses the puck and receives a body hit from a Team B player.
A Team B player gains possession of the puck and scores a goal. At the conclusion of the play, the Team A coach challenges the hit for a possible contact to the head to the referee. After video review it is determined that the Team B player committed a contact to the head penalty. RULING: Since the major penalty had gone unnoticed against the offending team (penalized) prior to the goal, the goal shall be disallowed, and clock reset to the time of the infraction.
What an absolute joke. Great job B1G.
shouldn't play be called as soon as the Gophers touch the puck if it was played as a delayed penalty? Would Penn have challenged if they scored? If Penn state had scored would the goal come off? That's bullshit.

the rules explicitly say it gets disallowed and time reset. Which is really dumb. Call the major, goal is allowed, time doesn't change.
Can you just challenge any play in the whole f’n game whenever you want?
It wasn't actually a delayed penalty, PSU challenged the non-call for contact to the head. If PSU had scored instead of the Gophers, I don't know if they'd have challenged (not sure what would happen to their goal under that circumstance)shouldn't play be called as soon as the Gophers touch the puck if it was played as a delayed penalty? They challenged at the first stoppage of play after the hit, that stoppage just happened to be as a result of the goal. Can you just challenge any play in the whole f’n game whenever you want? Once we scored and they didn’t challenge that should be the end of it.

WE STILL GOT WOOD
