I went back and watched 4 times, once in slow motion, and I can’t see how PSU got called for interference. It’s pretty bad when neither team can figure out what the hell you’re calling.

A case of the refs wanting the game to be about them.
I am very anxious with how this game is getting called. I feel like the majority of the penalties that have been called are either not penalties or are usually not called.
On further consideration, not all season, just the past couple months. Their criteria on replay where it isn't a cut and dried situation (was there contact to the head, and no, it was hip-to-hip, like Nelson last weekend) appears to be:Putting their thumb on the scale to try to help Gopher opponents like they have all season.What the actual f$ck are these refs doing!?

That was a terrible period to watch. Good outcome for the Gophers but completely mismanaged by the refs. They should have their performance reviewed by the B1G.

The Fish hit was the same as the Snuggy hit, except with Snuggy, the PSU player was already against the boards. If they called it consistently, much of my complaining today wouldn't be happening. If Snuggy got 2 minutes on review, and no penalty on the Fish hit, ok, I get it, you can't call a minor on review, but both were partially from behind, partially into the shoulder, with Fish being knocked into the boards from a foot or two away, as opposed to the PSU player being up against the boards when Snuggy hit him.

At 4:07 Snuggy 5 minutes for a hitting from behind and a DQ
At 7:42 Chesley 2 minutes for cross checking
At 8:55 Nelson 2 minutes for cross checking
For 12 seconds we had three guys in the box so Nelson's penalty couldn't even start. The Gophers were shorthanded for 7 straight minutes and were short 5 on 3 for 2 straight minutes.
This season the Gophers have the fewest penalty minutes in the country at 6.5 minutes per game.
In the first 9 minutes of the game today the Gopher got called for 19 minutes in penalties so 3 games worth.

eh it’s high, it’s late, it’s unnecessary, it’s from behind. No issue at all.
The issue I have is more you’ve (not you, but NCAA hockey) left it discretionary. Either let them all them all be 5s or 5s and a game. Making it a judgment call you’re going to have issues on every single one.
