I wear my son's insulated crocs when I'm using the Blackstone or tending to my smoker/grill. Not gonna lie, they are lowkey comfortable and keep my feet warmer than slides would.

The defense men are definitely improving which was always going to be a key to this season.
This year 4 of our 5 top D men are under class men.
If the top 5 all come back next season the set of defense men next year could be as good and maybe even better overall then last year's group.
Next year could be
Koster - 5th senior
Chelsey - Junior
Thomas - Junior
Lute Mitts - Junior
Rinzel - Sophomore
Even having 4 of the 5 back next season would create a huge bump in top upper class men D. Chelsey, Thomas, and Luke Mitts becoming upper class men next season will be big.

Thomas reminds me more of Skjei than Faber. Obviously not as good as Brady but they’re both efficient defensive defensemen that can be counted on to make the simple pass and shut down offense off the rush.
I am sure others did this as well, but I went in to the CHN PW predictor and switched just the Friday night result against MSU and it flipped their positions. Not trying to state the obvious, but I hope that brutal third period doesn't haunt them later this spring.

If the top 5 all come back next season the set of defense men next year could be as good and maybe even better overall then last year's group.
It would be a nice deep Corp, but I wouldn't go that far. Last year was maybe the best D Corp I can recall watching for the Gophs, or maybe even in NCAA. (Granted I don't have the greatest memory.) But I feel like that was maybe even better than Leopold's senior year. (Any others I am forgetting - post 1979 for me.) And as good as the freshman look like they could be, they will still be freshman. But even if they are just close to last year's D, I would expect it to be one of the best D corps in college.
Like most Gopher fans, Scott Powers who is the Athletic's Blackhawks beat writer, expects Moore back with the Gophers for year 2.
I don’t believe Moore’s recent offensive output changes how quickly he turns pro. The Blackhawks are assuming he’ll return for his second season with Minnesota. He is a candidate to turn pro at the end of next college season, burn the first year of his contract and immediately play in the NHL.
