I think SCSU still had their deal in place at least this season. But it sounds like UST will be taking all the other potential open dates, meaning the Gophers won't be getting any there.
Anyone have info on when Duluth away game tickets go on sale? You can buy multi game packages now but not single game as far as I can tell.

Thanks! I noticed that too and was gonna post the date for everyone but glad you got it covered :). Hopefully the site works this time ? (back in 2016 the site got overloaded or something and I got stuck with standing row tickets, literally couldn’t see half the game, not that it was really worth seeing ?♂️)Anyone have info on when Duluth away game tickets go on sale? any possibility the Friday game w/ Duluth gets moved up to allow for a little more buffer between games with the travel time? I'd doubt it and will just have to buck up and deal with it and some late driving, but a guy can keep his fingers crossed
So can someone fill me in on BTN+? I still get cable and have had Balley and BTN so have never subscribed to plus. (Live outstate so mostly rely on TV.) So does BTN+ pretty much carry all the games that aren't on BTN? Have they picked up Balley's feed in the past, or whatever channel has their broadcasts? In other words, does someone have to be broadcasting for them to carry it, or do they send cameras out in that case? And finally, what sort of price are we talking?
Thanks for any info.
It was sure nice in those years where we didn't go into the season worrying if games would be televised. And I'm sure it didn't hurt recruiting of local talent when the Gophs were always on.
I live out of state and have done the BTN+ the last couple of years. They seem to broadcast all of the home games that aren't on BTN and the road games at Big ten teams (maybe not Notre Dame, I don't remember). There were some student type of broadcasts, but most of them were the feeds from Bally sports north or maybe Bally Michigan if it was at MSU or Michigan. I didn't get the road games at NCHC teams (NoDak, SCSU, UMD). I think the NCHC owns the rights to those and doesn't let BTN+ show them.
I got the school pass which was $9.99 per month. That gave me every gopher sport that wasn't on BTN, so I watched a few women's hockey games on that and some basketball early in the season. Plus, with it being month to month, I could cancel in December when they didn't have games that weren't on BTN and pick it up again in January. I got by for about $30 for the whole season. I know they also do a hockey only pass. That was around $60 for the season and that gave you all the men's and women's hockey from all of the Big ten schools. So, if you think you'd watch more than just gopher games, that might be the way to go.
I go to every home game. For away games I just go to whatever tavern I'm near and I live near many order a beer and ask them to turn on Gophers hockey please.
So what is the delay with getting the TV Schedule, someone posted that the U of M was working with Rush to get this set up?
Aloha!
@gopher6 Last year the TV schedule didn't come out until October 14th. Patience my friend.
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Just a heads up tickets AT notre dame are on sale at 5pm tonight. Their fan base has grown so there are not as many tickets available as in the past so don’t wait! Also unless you are a tiny human, I would suggest not buying seats in the corners. ?
Hopefully they will add more giveaways for the non students like they did last year.
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Promotions Schedule for this season:
Notre Dame 11-18 free Cowboy hats!
Aren’t all the promos just for students?
someone must get me a cowgirl hat however. 😉
@cowgirl We get a Jersey Koozie, fanny pack and poster schedule ?
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Nope
- 11/2 (vs UMD) - NATIONAL JERSEY FRIDAY - The first 5,000 fans will receive FREE jersey koozies!
- 2/10 (vs PSU) - FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT - The first 5,000 fans will receive FREE belt bags!
The remaining giveaways are students only.
Tact is the ability to step on a man's toes without messing up the shine on his shoes - Harry S Truman
Maybe we can invent another new and stupid way to wear Fanny packs? ?
I refer to them as boobie bags now...since that is all the rage. I'm so thankful my wife dislikes that trend.
I am the official Iowa Hawkeye football fan of GPL!
Any idea when this exhibition game is happening?
My friends and my employers are starting to get a little tired of my non-committal attitude toward scheduling in the fall and winter months

The GPL schedule page is updated. I removed the times I guessed and just set to TBD. But if you subscribe to the online calendar, those I have not changed. Those times are still my best guess right now.

SCSU games on Fox9+ as of today per SCSU schedule....
10-7, 10-21, 11-3, 11-4, 11-17, 11-18, 11-24, 11-25, 12-31, 1-19, 1-20, 1-26, 1-27, 2-23, 2-24, 3-1, 3-2
Potential Fox9+ conflicts-
11-3, 11-17,11-18, 11-24, 1-19
Again, I just used what was posted on the SCSU schedule site and compared it to what is potentially the Gophers from Rush Tv. I don't know how Fox9+ works and if they have more than 1 + channel like BSN or what times the SCSU vs Gophers games are. So maybe some double header possibilities but more likely another TV station for those games.
Purely Recklessness Speculation from me....

isnt Fox9+ the alternate channel for Fox9?
Aloha!
I thought I just read that St Thomas would be on Fox9+?
Yes. St Thomas and SCSU will both have games televised on Fox9+.I thought I just read that St Thomas would be on Fox9+?
And yes, Fox9+ is an alternate channel for Fox 9. But they could theoretically have multiple alternate channels that they label Fox9+ (BSN has had multiple games on alternate channels in the past).
You're on Fox9+!, and you're on Fox9+!, and...
I still have a hard time believing these sports channels struggle making money with Gopher hockey when they seemed to do just fine in the 1990's on Channel 29 or whatever they used back then.
But I guess they didn't have to compete with reruns of Deadliest Catch back then either.

Which is why this is tough until something more concrete is publicly released. Maybe it will be a combo of multiple TV channels? Some type of streaming thing? Who knows?

There is a lot that goes into it but the fact that you are comparing cable with over the air is part of the disconnect there. While you joke about re-runs of Deadliest Catch the fact is there is way more competition for eyes (and ad revenue) than there was back in the da. Plus you are talking about a higher production value and networks/RSNs that have a lot of money tied up in other shows/sports as well. A lot of factors play into it but the truth is no network is going to pay their bills on the backs of Gopher Hockey in the current market unless you a production on par with what SCCC does when their AV department runs games.
(I assume you know most of this)
@jupiter it looks the the subscribe calendar updated but the schedule page here still lists the Jan 13 RMU game as 7pm, fyi.

Great find @gold-country !!!
This is not really a public page yet, but you found it. There was also a typo that had the 12/9 game listed as PSU and not OSU, I fixed your post above and let my contact at the U know about it.

They will still update things.
The Notre Dame games will be on Peacock, but until its officially announced it won't show up on the schedule
Not sure if Bally's Wisconsin is still broadcasting Badger games but it wouldn't surprise me to see those games there and then carried by Bally's North.
Same potentially with Bally's Michigan and the three unaired games there.
I know the wolverine games are the first big weekend of the college basketball season.
Just checked.
BTN has a BB doubleheader on Friday night and has two football windows open Saturday afternoon leading into Wisconsin/Penn State volleyball at night.
So guess it depends what the Wolverines use for other TV options if any.
