They should never wear anything besides a block M. It is way too awkward to say either choose to wear Gophers diagonally across the chest or choose to lose to those that do.

Agree... I rather see OSU or PSU over Mich. State. Even with the longer history between the Gophers/MSU compared to OSU and PSU.

I also made a mistake in how the processs actually works... this nomination process is actually more of a complete talking point thing than I thought it was earlier. After the fan ballot which comes from coaching nominations, there is a real Hobey Baker nomination process by all the NCAA schools where they get to pick three conference players and three national players. Those votes are then tabulated for an actual top ten that the 30 person committee then votes. And now that I write this, I need to find out how the Hobey Hat Trick is determined and if there is an additional step.
