I had Bananas Foster at the famous NO restaurant Brennens, who claim to have invented it.

I’ll just say a well made BF is a thing of beauty, and that one was.  Best I’ve ever had.

Thank you to Reader Steven, who wrote in to let us know that Key West remained in the Union during the Civil War, which would mean the southernmost point in the Union was located in Florida, not California. Trivia Mafia regrets the error.
