That was more where I was coming from.

I would consider an EV vehicle for buzzing around town and to and from work. Other than that I wouldn't touch a EV vehicle. And we have a hybrid and only have used the ev side of it out of curiosity.

I've been considering a Tesla. My kid's hockey teammate drove their Tesla to a hockey game in Sioux Falls. The air bag suspension when out (Teslas don't have typical shocks/coils). The car recognized it didn't have bag pressure and refused to drive. There are no dealerships in Sioux falls that can fix Teslas so they had to pay for a flat bed to drive it back to the cities. Then they had to split the family up in teammate's cars to get back home themselves.
An issue that would affect less than 3% of cars (most cars have shocks/springs) turned into a major pain in the ass and a great expense.
Electric cars actually do well in winter conditions due to the added weight and said weight being so low to the ground. Still wouldn’t expect a lot in the UP, but for other reasons.
My friend has a Tesla and cannot park on an incline with any snow. The car just slides, even when parked. He pulled up to my driveway with about an inch of snow, driveway was maybe a 10 degree incline, and the car slid back into the middle of the street. Says that it happens all the time at his house as well.
What’s the update?!?!?! Still stuck in Ho-town or on the road?!?!?!

Just checked into the Wassau Super 8, not going to push through tonight. Too tired. At least it's only going to cost me $90 for the room instead of $250.

Talking about Tesla’s and battery lives. I just saw on my commute home a Tesla with a trailer hitch on it. One, looks like crap on a Tesla. And two, I would like to see how fast the battery life dwindles while pulling something.
