Here are your 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees:
I’m sure it’s mostly because I’m old, but it seems like you post these about every three months.
Is there anyone that HASN'T been nominated for the HoF yet? That's the vibe I get because I agree with you.
I guess I'm just that out of touch. The Foo Fighters still need a stadium to play in? I thought they would be a Medina Ballroom following.
Keep your stick on the ice...

Is there a second list for "Rock" bands?

1. Yes, the Foos are still that huge.
2. The RNR HOF is a joke.
3. That being said:
My votes would be Eminem, Judas, Dolly, Rage, Carly, and Tribe.

It may be time to retire this thread and create new one. It's pretty large and I've noticed it has become a lot slower to open on my phone compared to my computer.
Motion is on the table.

That should not matter. It's only making making a request and loading a single page at a time...
It's a matter of how YT videos get posted in, they all generate a new page load. Even on my PC, I need to open this thread in a new tab, because it can be almost impossible to hit "Back" to get to the previous screen

That is not a problem with the thread itself but rather a very video heavy page in the thread.
That is a good point. Dug around a little, looks like it's just so many video links... a new thread would help for a while, but eventually it'd get to 60ish posts like we are here, and 70+ videos linked, and the same thing happens.
Threads max out at 75 posts per page. Once this one hits that (this post is #60 on this page) it'll clear up for a while, but start dragging again as more links are posted.

There could be a best practice rule like stick to one video per post. Then you know the maximum number of videos to load at any given time would be 75, but realistically much fewer than that.
Gotcha - I will leave it as is.
Thank you both!

That's not a bad idea, really, at least for this thread. Only other place we generally do multiple video links in one post is for BADger week, and that's just one post that we usually have links it at all.
Plus, splitting up multiple videos into extra posts will ensure we get to the 75 per page cap more rapidly as well, wrap around to new pages, etc.

I never have any problems.

So much for best practices
I think people aren't paying attention to the conversation.

I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Okay, with luck, at one link per post, I won't have to open this thread in a new tab.
Thanks for going back and splitting that up Slap Shot ... Sorry it it seemed like I was taking a personal shot, it definitely wasn't intended that way.

Let's just agree the following is awesome. First appearance ever:

Of course, they play in Boston (Agganis Arena) on March 30, instead of 1 week later when I'd actually likely go to the show Wednesday night before the Frozen 4

A total throwback to the 90's - a bit Breeders, Veruca Salt, Courtney Barnett. Slow start but it's fun when it kicks in.

Most awesome!!!! "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert"! The music is incredible, the lineup is magical and Linda Ronstadt is, without hyperbole of course, a goddess!
Great song, and love her work.
