Great song. With proper headphones? Off the charts.
Wow! That Sonny Landreth-Clapton video is amazing. Another gem from the Crossroads Festival. Amazing sound Landreth get from his Strat that is unique from others. Not sure if it’s reverb or it’s the amp or pickups he uses. Uses a thump pick like JW.
Pretty sure that was Bill Murray backstage.
Thanks for sharing that beauty!
Found this after a little research.

Yeah Sunny Landreth is a hell of a player. This is from the same afternoon. Correct on the Bill Murray observation.

Yea good stuff. More obvious in this video that he plays behind the slide with the slide on his pinkie. Very cool.
I've got three Crossroads disks, and this one happens to be a blu-ray. :good2:

He makes it sound so easy.
This is pretty damn cool.
One of the things I've always liked about Clapton is he doesn't care if he's not the primary focus, he just seems to love playing with other fantastic musicians.
Skip ahead to about the three minute mark if you want to skip the talking/intros.

That redheaded woman Bonnie Raitt can also play a mean slide guitar also.

Lita Ford is okay, also. Same with Joan Jett. Sorta.

She is fantastic in concert.

Mick Taylor, Buddy Whittington and Eric Clapton
Watching "Animal House" and that soundtrack is so killer. There are good soundtracks, and then there are legendary soundtracks. AH is legendary.

Enjoy it for what it is. Multi talented high school and Jr high school kids, having a blast. Kind of like the musical equivalent of high school hockey. Certainly not as good as the pro's but still entertaining when placed in context.
I would have loved to have had that kind of opportunity when I was a kid. I bought a red Fender bass guitar at B-Sharp Music but had no good quality instruction and nothing like a music program that nurtured these kids musical aspirations. I'm jealous. It's also quite refreshing to see kids really digging music from the sixties and seventies.
These kids do a great job with this:
Fun!
(I can't believe I've not heard this one before)

Wow! Possibly my favorite song from The Wall and this version is absolutely fantastic. Thank you for posting it!

That is awesome. It's probably my 2nd fave from The Wall. "Nobody Home" is my fave.

Another "just for fun" that I just stumbled across. Over 32 million views on YouTube, and I had never heard of her.

She's great. She's got quite a bit of solo stuff, and then some collaborative covers as well.

Public Enemy's new single. No link, no comment. It's classic PE, although this is the most I've heard them cuss in a song, EVER. You all can do your homework and google it.

OMG @The Rube that Ramones clip is AWESOME!
I saw them once, I want to say in 1996? It was right after Loco Live was released, and they were at Edgefest/Xfest/whatever soon after. That buildup to them taking the stage to "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly" was INTENSE. I can't even imagine seeing The Last Show. I really am serious, when I say that I got a little choked up to FINALLY seeing them live. Top 5 fave band for me.

Cool music related article about how one of Jimmy Page's prized guitars was stolen in MN and then found 45 years later.
Has anyone watched the Laurel Canyon film? It's been on one of the movie channels I get on Comcast (Epix??) recently and it's really interesting. The convergence of talent in that small area is amazing. Worth a watch if you're interested.

Between that film and watching The Eagles concert on ESPN I was reminded how much I enjoyed Linda Ronstadt's music and I'm listening to a greatest hits album I just purchased. I always forget how good she is. Also cute in a Dodgers jacket singing the anthem for those old enough to remember.....

I love Linda Ronstadt. Saw her at the Civic Center in 1979, if I recall correctly. There is a wonderful documentary on her, "Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice", released in April of 2019. Watched it on CNN earlier this Spring. Awfully cute in the Cub Scout outfit as well.
Yes, just gonna mention the Linda doc that CNN aired. Great doc.
