So far season 2 of "The Lincoln Lawyer" on Netflix has been very good. A nice bridge until the season 2 of "Bosch Legacy" drops later this year (Nov).

And of course the series finale is when I'm in the UP, so now I have to decide to take an hour+ to watch it up there (streaming on Hulu) or wait until I'm back. Depends on my patience, I guess.

Ep 1 of Full Circle has promise although I can't say I love the representation of the characters played by Claire Daines and Timothy Olyphant yet. I don't know if that's by design or by poor writing and direction. Not enough to prevent me from watching Ep 2 but it's on my mind.
Follows last season of Mariota, Mahomes, and Cousins. I'm through 3 of 8 episodes. Had to quit after the 3rd tonight, since it ended with the Bills/Vikings game, which was one of the most emotionally draining, and most exciting games I have ever seen. It's interesting to hear all their perspectives, what goes through their minds. The home-life angle is also good to see, because that does play a part in how you play the game, like it or not, and to see how the person is away from the field.
I do recommend.

1. could Cousins and Family be MORE Ned Flanders?!
2. Mahomes is a solid dude.
3.Love the Xs and Os (Mind Games) episode. Love the breakdowns on the plays and mindsets.
I hope this becomes a series. Would love to see my boy Jawsh (2nd best QB in the league), Lamar (top 5 QB), and Jordan (how do you follow a legend?) in the future.

The tunnel of LOVE needs to actually do something noteworthy (on the field) before being included, agree on Allen & Lamar thou…:)

It's not about what he's done, it's the pressure of following someone like Rodgers (and Favre). The mind process, the expectations from fans, etc. How does THAT journey go?

I'm 10 minutes into the Justified restart and it's already a, "hell yes!".
Agreed.
Mayans (season finale): I guessed one part of the ending a while ago. Did not expect the other late-coming storyline to end how it did. It was good, but not satisfying for my tastes. That person is a total sociopath. The last aspect of the storylines...I tend to believe one thing, but cannot confirm what actually happened, IF anything happened. The hint to that is the dog and new owner, so to speak.
I really loved the series, much tighter than SOA overall.

I am with you that I thought that the finale was good yet not really satisfying. I'm not surprised by a couple outcomes and disappointed in the one outcome of the sociopath. For me both SOA and Mayans had there ups and downs in keeping my attention. Overall I enjoyed Mayans and SOA though.

I looked at it as 3 main storylines ending. One, we agree was expected. Had to make a choice. The second, not satisfying, that was a coin-flip ending. The third...I really don't know what to make of that, because it's up to the viewer. The character nodded ever so slightly, so...

El Chapo (Netflix, with it originally being on Univision).
Started the series tonight, looks like 3 seasons and done. It's NOT a telenovela, so seasons aren't 60 eps or anything. I want to say about thirty episodes total for the series? Eps per season vary.
It's pretty good so far, I'm 4 eps in. It aligns with what I know, and also with other series/etc that cover this era of narcotraficantes.

About 2/3 through the series, it's painfully accurate (in a good way). No stone unturned. They have successfully inserted real news footage in the series at key moments, mainly to show that they are keeping this as accurate as possible. I'm really liking this series.

Watched the Netflix "limited" series "The Women Of Hip Hop." It was decent. A little strong/over-compensating on some of the opinions, but overall, definitely good.
A nitpick of mine was the controversy of the song "WAP." Um, Lil' Kim pretty much did all that with "How Many Licks." To me, "WAP" was a blatant 2 Live Crew version of (insert song about sexuality/owning it/obscenity). I didn't like the song b/c of the content, it was the presentation, B-effort at best. "How Many Licks" was a banger.

Who Were We Running From - Netflix (Turkish). A mother and daughter are inexplicably living a life on the run while staying in lavish hotels paying cash for 30-day stays, eating all their meals in their room, buying furniture and shopping daily for new clothing, and refusing to venture off the hotel grounds. We learn the slightest amount of insight into what it is going on in Ep 1, but the viewer is still kept mostly in the dark. Extremely engrossing and intriguing. Here's hoping the last 6 episodes can deliver on the promise of the start.
I am putting this under "TV" even though it it Netflix Streaming; it's their series "Untold" which is basically ESPN's 30/30: Hall Of Shame.
About the BALCO/steroids/etc controversy in sports. I'll give some credit to Conta, he was really open about some stuff, and other stuff...well, spin spin spin. Tim Montgomery (sprinter) was brutally honest. The doc was one of the most neutral I've seen on a subject, they let everyone (who was open to talking) talk. Basically, let the viewer decide.
I recommend this ep, and the series in general.

Good short on the ending, then the real ending kicks in. SUNUVABEECH! How they handle that cliffhanger is going to be difficult journey, I think. If they can pull it off...kudos.

Very good and suspenseful. Full of twists and turns. Obviously you know what happens based on the title, but that's just the beginning. A fun ride throughout.
Who is Erin Carter? Netflix streaming. We are 3 episodes in and quite like it. There's nothing ground-breaking happening, but the slow reveal on the background of the protagonist is well done, solid performances, and no major plot holes so far to have to ignore.

I binged it this week to the detriment of my others shows I'm in the middle of watching. I will agree with everything you said.

I enjoyed the ending and really enjoyed THE ending. If they don't do anything with the cliffhanger I'm fine with that. Both characters deserve the endings they got.

I can't imagine they would bother with THE ending (considering its absence for the entirety of the season up until that point) if there is no intention to do another season, but I too would be fine if they do in fact conclude it as is.
btw because I am bored - would Raylan Givens have ever bought a bottle of Blanton's for himself or was he more of a ___ kind of guy?
Not sure the context of your question about the whiskey, other than all I know he's a bourbon, not Rye kinda guy.
If it's concluded as is (and remember, the strike is going on, which killed many a show when something like this last happened), I'd be fine with it. Open enough to continue, but you aren't really left hanging 100%.

Ingobernable (Netflix streaming): The first lady of Mexico is a woman of conviction and ideals. But when she loses faith in her husband, and he's assassinated, she'll need all her strength to uncover the truth.
Almost through the first season, NOT a telenovella so just a dozen eps give or take per season. It's alright. I can't say it's excellent, but I also don't mind taking the time to watch it. Obviously big-time conspiracy storyline, and at times it seems to start to go off the rails, but those parts are short-lived, thankfully. Good time-killer.

Finished the second season, and looking around on the internet, doesn't seem be a third season coming.
It was decent, a somewhat of a cliffhanger at the end, but not a dire one. It was one of those "it's left up to the viewer to decide" scenarios. Worth a few hours to watch the 2 seasons, IMO.
