A few years ago I had one of my eyes get really red I went to my eye doctor he told me it was a blood clot explosion it will clear up on its own it was caused by high blood pressure. I do not have high blood pressure last time checked it was 118 over 80. This past weekend it happened again I am not sure why this keeps happening I am going to my physicians office on Friday for a second opinion
Aloha!
I had a little vessel rupture once. Painful for a moment and had a red area for several days. I don’t have high blood pressure. It can just happen. Of course eyes are nothing to be messed with so a second opinion from an ophthalmologist is the best idea. (Vs. an optometrist).

My dad had this happen a few months ago. Looked pretty gnarly but doctors basically said "Sometimes it happens, just try to stay calm."
I had a chalazion lump in my right eye about 5 years ago. After continues heat presses it wouldn't go away. So I had to go in and have it removed. Now I have one in my left eye and seems not want to go away with heat presses. More than likely I'll have to go in have it removed. Nothing serious or painful, just I hate eye procedures and eye appointments. If I would have seen Lasik prior having it done, I don't know how still I could have been... lol!!!
Keep your stick on the ice...
My eye cleared up on its own after 1 week of being red, it looked really bad I went to my physicians office and they told me the same thing as my eye doctor. It was caused by high blood pressure I used to have low blood pressure but it is now rather high
Aloha!
