Anyone know which Godbout is the father?
@iceburg former Gopher Jason Godbout

Weird two weeks there where he was only following Minnesota. Shows you the social media following method isn’t foolproof yet.
Not worried about him. Don’t get the Moorhead fascination with UND
Yes, I'm not too worried about both Laurila and Emery heading to UND, however, I really don't like that both Hensler and Skahan are going to Wisconsin.
Really hoping the next few big recruits to announce are ours!!

BU keeps the pipeline going.

I'm starting to think it was BU who was offering the $75k in NIL money
Bob doesn’t recruit young goalies so I doubt we even offered. Great player though.
Jeff Heil's son?
Jeff Heil's son?
Yes...
I took "Intro to Typing" in high school. I think I took it as a senior and Jeff was a freshman in that class with me. I don't think he like it when I called him "Heel".
Do not like how this board is run?

Wait, north dakota has an incoming player named Heil? Their ability to find players with nazi-like names never ceases to amaze....

@jupiter Back in the day at the Warren Strelow's Goalie Camps, Warren would ride Jeff something fierce.
Interesting. Michigan adds a 3rd goalie as a 5th year player who played DIII the last 4 years.

Rats. Full court press for Rombach now.
Not having a lacrosse program might’ve cost us this one lol

Michigan State continues to crush it. They will be bringing in 4 NTDP forwards next year.

Sparty can’t miss right now
Nightingale is using his connections from his prior years to his advantage. His relationships with his players at the US program must have been pretty good as he is getting a good bunch of them to follow him to Sparty.

He really stood out to me this weekend. Heard the name but never seen him play and he looked good.
James and Michael Hagens to BC. Happened to be scrolling through Instagram as it happened.
At least it's not Michigan.
Bummer. But in Bob we trust. He has done a great job recruiting and building teams so far. I don’t see why people on social media are getting so worried.

I agree. Some "fans" seem to think the Gophers should get ALL of the top 10 recruits every year, no matter where they are from. Teams that have been stacked with a ton of high end draft picks rarely win it all (looking a Michigan, and BU from years past). Are there players I wished we have landed? Sure, but I have a feeling that NIL will be a major player and I think MN may not have the deep pocketed donors as a few other teams. But, we will be fine.

Anyone done a mental health check on a certain former poster?
I'd be pretty disappointed if Gophers hockey can't compete for NIL. MN is something like #1 or 2 for Fortune 500 companies per capita, and is 8th nationally for median household income depending upon the source. And although you can't fund your NIL off former players the U sees plenty of former players play in the NHL and after they're done playing do well in the business sector. I suppose much of it comes down to promotion and networking so if the U lags in that department...
Cullen Potter to Michigan State. Nightangale turned that program around fast my goodness.
Cullen Potter commits to Michigan State.
Cooper Simpson to the Fawks
He's 16. Plenty of time to decommit.Cooper Simpson to the Fawks
Mason Kraft to Mankato. Very confident we didn’t offer.
Mason Kraft to Mankato. Very confident we didn’t offer.
Genuinely curious to why he wouldn't get an offer from Bob? For all the talk about other former players kids why wouldn't Ryan Kraft's kid, who seems to be an above average player, get a look/offer? It's not like Bob doesn't get former players kids on his teams...Brodzinski.
I am the official Iowa Hawkeye football fan of GPL!
Mason Kraft is good but I don’t think he’s Gopher good. At least not to get an offer as a junior. Not saying that offer wouldn’t be there in a few years if he progresses well. Same with Vanek. Bob does a good job of not succumbing to the pressure of offering legacies, he tries to bring the best players in period.
Congrats to Mason, Mankato is a great program that will treat him well.
Thank you for the info

Henry Lechner to St. Thomas. This is their first massive get in my opinion. Reason to believe they beat out multiple “blue bloods”
