The spelling of Jackson has evolved lately in hockey.

Michigan gets a player who was once committed to Denver.

Very Ricky Hendersonesque.

Anyone know why Notre Dame has had so many decommits?
Entertaining comment but hopefully someone gets me a real answer.
I dont think they have had anyone super recent. It has more been a trend the past 2 years or so compared to other schools.
Mike hastings got any good recruits coming in 2024? Or is he going to be portal king?

Any idea if we were really in the running for this kid or not?
Darn, there goes the chance of the Moore, Moore, Moore line (Oliver, William, Javon)
Next man up for BC

Motvei Gridin is not going to Michigan and will instead go pro instead. Big loss for Michigan. Will be interested to see how talented Michigan is this year.
Big loss for Michigan if true

The 3M line at Mariucci 😁
Just read the Wheeler profile on Eiserman and the prospect noted his dad's cancer diagnosis was a big reason he changed his commitment from Minnesota to BU. It wasn't something he wanted widely known at the time, but always good to read the cancer is in remission now.

Well if it's in remission, when is he recommitting here?
Looks like Michigan is losing a commitment for 25-26 in Kristian Epperson. Also seems to be some confusion if Matvei gridin is coming in.
I saw somewhere on Twitter that Gridon was going Canadian juniors but never saw it confirmed
Gridin officially not going to Michigan because his grades are too bad per Connor Earegood. CHL it is.
Michigan is killing it on the recruitment trail again. Getting Nyman and Valentini. Probably going to end up getting Hurlbert too. I don't think we were ever in the conversation with them, but hurts seeing them go to Mich haha

based on the last few weeks, we’ll see how many actually end up playing there haha
Penn State lands a seven footer.

And he’s only 16 so he could grow taller. Put a kid like that on skates… YUGE

Amazing, and he already has 16 shots on goal.

Stupid question perhaps: does this kid have to make more effort than most to avoid making head contact with his elbow?
Gotta imagine his mobility is next to none
Michigan lands Alex Hage brother of Michael Hage (shocking) and UMD lands Victor Plante (even more shocking).
Wow. He’s been eligible to commit for a couple years now but still big news. Kam Hendrickson to Princeton.

Can never fault a guy for getting an Ivy League education

He might be O.K., might have to bend over to make head contact. 🥸
When you reach that stratosphere stick length must become an issue. Isn't there a max length players can use?

Yes this worked out perfectly lol
The joke is going over my head, not surprising. What's meant here?

My assumption is Bumgarner (due to his dad) may be more of a headache than an asset...just based on speculation in recruiting thread. The classic helicopter parent. Who knows; wish him well personally but hope his future program goes winless.
Cole is a very good hockey player where I wouldn't want to play him minimum 4 times a year (ie if he went to Michigan or Wisconsin), but as his "transfer" status went in highschool, I am not sure it would be worth the will he stay won't he stay that would inevitably occur. https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/629360/cole-bumgarner
That is my take on it though haha
So he's played 3 years of high school hockey at THREE different high schools and this year he is expected to play for Fargo (USHL)? He is only 16. Did he play for Shakopee HS as an 8th grader?
WTH? This can't be good for kids to annually switch schools and never have any consistency in their lives. I hope it works out for him, but my guess is most kids fail in this situation. Maybe not in hockey but in other areas of life.
