FYI on Broz... He was the 13th forward yesterday for Denver. Saw a little bit of ice in the 1st period, but hardly played at all during most of the game. Got a little bit in OT and sniped the game winner.
It's interesting to me that a player who produces as much as Broz did this year was their 13th forward for most of the game. He has like 40 points in 42 games. Maybe he was in the doghouse following their Cornell game?

I think part of it was Rizzo coming back for Denver yesterday. I believe Rizzo took over that first line position from Broz as the game went on, but I am sure others might know info.

I was at the game and didn't at all see what Jup saw, with it looking to me like Broz played a regular shift throughout the entire game. He went 8-for-15 on faceoffs and was definitely out on a couple of Denver's power plays in the 3rd period.

i didn’t pay close enough attention. I just remember a reporter asking Carle after the game if that was Broz’s first shift in OT. Carle said no and that he played some in the first.

I think you are right a different player for Denver who is also called Tristan may have caused the confusion. I looked at their line charts and that other Tristan was the 13th forward.

They have always been Yankees Lite they just lost despite all the spending. Also one of the whiniest fanbases that exists outside of Chicago.
Would imagine that Denver is going to have to score at least 4 to win tonight (similar to what they did earlier this year when the beat BC). In fact, BC hasn't lost this year giving up less than 4. I'll be curious to see how DU sets up to try slow them down today but I don't think they can try sit back and absorb pressure like they have to get to this point. hoping both teams play open and we see a fun game.

Matt Davis was a below average goalie in the regular season with a saves percentage of around 90 %.
In the playoffs he has turned into Dominik Hasek. In 4 NCAA tournament games two of which have gone to OT including a game that went to double OT he has given up only 3 goals while making close to 120 saves. His saves percentage is over 97%.
I would have pull the goalie during the BC power play at the 7 minute mark.
