You picked 2 of the top 5 teams, so really not that surprising. Personally I’ll be surprised if Duluth gets through Denver, but they both have far easier roads to meet in the semis than if I were to say MN and MN St will meet in the semis and the winner will win it all. But there’s a reason most people only listed 5-6 teams who could win it and you’re listing 2/3 on that side of the bracket.

I don’t know how to post a picture but Vegas has cracked on the Notre Dame and Fighting Hawks game. Notre Dame is -110 on the money line and -1.5 on the puck line. North Dakota is -120 on the money line and +1.5 on the puck line. So North Dakota is a money line favorite puck line dog. Don’t see that everyday.

I think many expected this to be the best game of the first round and hopefully that's the case (with the shiny helmets winning).

I got the covid (I presume from Mariucci or Bdubs this past weekend) so I literally can watch every single game. Listening to Dave call a North Dakota game is a mutable offense with Spotify in the background.

These two are weird. First he said NoDak is a “legendary tournament team” and then they described a player as having a “good set of feet”.

I have no clue how they end up with that, I presume money came in on Notre Dame today because when I looked this morning I want to say Notre Dame was like +220 on the money line. (Could be wrong is was like 5AM). But you would think North Dakota would be -1.5 on the puck line being they are the favorites on the money line. You just don’t see that line very often.

Edit: I went back to the other thread and Notre Dame was a +105 and the puck line was flipped. So some money came in on Notre Dame or the odds makers just realized Hain and Sanderson were out.

My main problem with ESPN is them finding it necaessary to have a ticker rolling the same crap over and over across the bottom of the screen. Fine, run thru it once every 15 minutes and then get it off of there.

The same 3 commercials are far more egregious than the ticker. Especially the social security benefit one with Jimmie Walker. I have to mute the TV when that one comes on now. I do know who to call if I need help with an invention tho.
