Had a guy fall on the side of his leg/knee late-ish in game one. Guessing it didn't respond well after the game. What happened to Hartman?
Is anyone else having an issue where the audio is cutting out for 2-3 seconds every 5 minutes or so? This seems to only happen during gameplay and not intermission. Last night I had the same thing and thought maybe some fans were swearing and the feed was picking it up so they hit the dump button a few times. But it seems to frequent for that, and again tonight.
Probably just a me problem...

Shouldn't KK have gotten a penalty for jumping into the fight where a ref was already engaged? I am not sure of the rule.I think this year might be the first where erasing the penalty completely was an option. The NHL allows their refs to completely rescind the penalty after review. Dumba was only penalized for roughing because of the bullshit started by Domi.@streakygopher The refs kinda covered their butts by calling a 5 minute on Dumba, so they could review it. Since they called the 5, they then could downgrade it to a 2 after a review, but could not eliminate it. So he ended up with a 2. So technically he got 2 for the hit, but got nothing for the scrum with Domi. ( but I think that is what the penalty really was for )
This is what I remember. Don't think he got called for the hit
If called properly, the Dumba play should've resulted in a 7 minute PP for the Wild.
Dumba never threw a punch so it wasn't a fight, thus no 3rd man in penalty.

I definitely noticed it the other night on YTTV. I had the first period muted tonight...
It looked to me like Faber got tripped twice in the first in his zone and no calls. On seemed clear.
Nice block just now aside, Zuc has been god awful.
I noticed it Monday for sure and a couple times in the first.
Xfinity so it’s probably the feed.

NHL refs decided cross checking is a penalty.

Sweet dive Benn...
Pretty sure Merrill just got a penalty for crosschecking Jamie Benns crosscheck
Dear lord Fleury. And Dear Lord to whoever was part of this idiotic decision.
Pull his ass
Get Fleury a fucking snorkel
Brilliant move coach
Actually the first save on the 3 on 1 was spectacular. Given there was one Wild player in the defensive zone for (what seemed like) 15 seconds is concerning.

Think I'm going to get plenty of sleep tonight.
That 4th goal is not on on Fleury. The defense has to play too. Dallas allowed clean passes on a 3 on 2, Fleury makes the save, and no one is there to clean up the rebound. That was a hot mess.
MN just can’t have nice things no matter what. Wolves down 17.
only because Fleury was cheating to his left.Actually the first save on the 3 on 1 was spectacular. Given there was one Wild player in the defensive zone for (what seemed like) 15 seconds is concerning.
@greyeagle The power play goal by Benn was brutal. Yes the 4th goal he was left out to dry but if he played the position like a 2023 goalie he stays in his net square and gives himself a shot. No way that style works in todays game.
Brutal decision to take out a red hot, almost league best goalie. There really is no explanation.
Ever wonder why every save he makes looks so difficult? That 4th goal is not on on Fleury. The defense has to play too. Dallas allowed clean passes on a 3 on 2, Fleury makes the save, and no one is there to clean up the rebound. That was a hot mess.

This sums it up.
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Leah Hextall: Coach, how big of a fucking idiot do you feel like right now?
I mean. This isn’t a Fleury issue tonignt. The whole team is a bit of a mess.
Isn’t only a Fleury issue anyway.
Friendly Freddy!! He has some sweet mitts.
Lol
This sums it up.
The skaters need to take some responsibility, of course. But teams tend to get a little tight when they feel like they have to score every time they get in the zone.
Well, the Lakeville goalie isn't exactly on fire tonight either

This is 100% a bad goalie issue. This is what it looks like when a team doesn't trust their goaltender to make a save. Guys running around trying to keep the other team from even attempting a shot.I mean. This isn’t a Fleury issue tonignt. The whole team is a bit of a mess.
Isn’t only a Fleury issue anyway.
Fleury doesn’t control the rebound on an unscreened point shot and a few seconds later….
And again we’re pressuring because our goalie isn’t helping and bang a breakaway.
Silver lining... We shouldn't have to worry about who is starting Game 4...
He is complete garbage. The Wild put in a guy that played like junk his last few starts and a season .908 over a guy that was red hot and had a Vezina type season.
You can't F'ing make it up. There was zero case to be made for this.
Fleury only needs to stop the next 140-ish shots to match Gustavsson's save percentage

Gus starts all home games, Wild gained home ice with a win on the road.
The defense rests.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
I just hope Hartman is back for game 3.

Idiotic decision to start Fleury.
@greyeagle Third game? or Third Period?
Third game went without saying... Third period?? Boy I don't know. I think you gotta make MAF eat this one. Putting in Gus, and the team doesn't snap out of what they're doing? He could get lit up and that would NOT be good going into game 3. I'd rather make the veteran eat this one... It isn't like you're leaving in Patrick Roy for 9 goals in a regular season game.
Commit to resting Gus at this point, in my opinion. Don’t panic until you lose at home.
I was debating if you put Gus in for the 3rd after they made it 4-3. Thankfully Dallas managed 2 more shots on net and eliminated that debate.@greyeagle Third game? or Third Period?

Not suggesting Fleury is doing nearly enough. But this is a team issue tonight.

Did we just agree on something? This could be a first... ?
If I’m coaching I ask Gus if he wants the third tonight. He’d certainly get some practice against odd man rushes.
Im just a schmuck in a BarcaLounger….

Fair enough. If I am making that call, I am asking the Captain out in the hall if he can get the guys to "play the right way" if we make a change in net before I go ask Gus. A good captain would know if they can right the ship. Because if they cannot... you don't want Dallas have an odd-man rush parade to the net. Gus would likely take the net if asked, guy is a competitor and wants to help the team win. But its much more likely to go wrong than right putting him in at this point. (EDIT: I am not a coach, have never been a coach, and will likely never be a coach, so maybe I am way off base here...)
It isn't ALL on Fluery, imho (sorry @j22), but every time he had a chance to make a key save and turn the tide, he didn't. When you team is discombobulated, a key save can help. That's what you need your goalie to do in the playoffs. Missing that flailing poke check on the breakaway was the kiss of death,,, They aren't losing 100% because of Fluery. But they are in a 3 goal deficit due to some pretty poor goaltending.
In a team game, I cannot blame any one person for a loss. I just don't like doing that. But you HAVE to have a better performance from your goalie than this to win. I usually protect goalies, to a fault even. I am having a hard time getting behind MAF in this one. The team isn't doing him a ton of favors, but he is doing his team about zero favors...
A good captain would never let his coach and GM make such a terrible decision in the first place. If I’m coaching I ask Gus if he wants the third tonight. He’d certainly get some practice against odd man rushes.
