My dad is up cleaning out his park-model RV at the campground before they close for the year this season. He wanted to stream the Wild on his phone. The Bally Sports App is telling him "This Channel is not included in your Service". So he downloads the Xfinity App and that doesn't work.
He calls Xfinity and they tell him he needs to be connected to his Home WiFi Network to stream, and cannot stream anywhere else...
Da f**k?? If he was at home, where his TVs are, why would he need to stream??? Whats the point of streaming if you can only do it at home?
Is this really the case now? Ballys SUCKS!!!! Every move they have made has been at the expense of the fan. What a bunch of greedy @$$*****!!!
I cannot watch the games anymore, and it looks like my Dad will be limited to only at home now, which isn't all that often for him anymore.

I figured out how to turn it off. Apparently some new features since I’ve last used the app as there were several pop ups when I fired it up. Little settings wheel, I had to turn off the “on ice” tab.

I wouldn’t be surprised. They probably want to clamp down on your dad using your Xfinity password.
Sounds to me like your dad’s Bally’s app disconnected from his provider. I’m still able to use my parents spectrum info in the Ballys app on my phone and Apple TV.

I have the same issue with spectrum. Can only watch from the app when on home WiFi. Yeah. Cause that makes sense.

@fightclub30 well at least he didn't miss a good game. I have the same issue at the lake on bally, ABC sports and a few others. One work around is to record it, stay off media, and watch I after it's recorded. Some people can't do that because the game is over but I can. (The only true reality is between the ears.) 
@Bertogliat It is his login, I had stolen borrowed ? it many times the past two seasons... That appears to be over now.
Looks like I am done watching the Wild, I couldn't watch many games the way it was and this seals it for me.
I am aware of a work around, just don't like the "security", or lack there of, of it.

A friend had work tickets so I got to enjoy that goal fest for free tonight. The first three goals were not Fleury's fault. The defense hung him out to dry. The 4th was just brutal. Gutsavson wasn't much better. He got a few Bronx cheers for easy saves, but those dissipated when he let in a couple. The crowd was really into the game tonight. The poor start really agitated them. I would much rather be at a game where 13 goals were scored instead of 3.
