Is this good, bad, or neutral for the Gophers in terms of Reid’s performance and development? Hasn’t put up numbers in USHL.

Always thought he was a Tommy Serratore type of a guy. Loved Tommy on the Gophers but wouldn’t worry too much about this scenario. Who knows if he ends up here or not.
Either way I probably wouldn’t expect him here til fall 2026 anyway.
@mikeeruzione11 I’m not convinced Moore has a brighter future than Clark.
Formerly known as davey j.
Moore still runs into coverage and loses possession and his passing skills and vision are just okay.
I'll think he'll be in the NHL but his hockey skills don't measure up to his speed.

Im not convinced he will play in the NHL, but the more I watch Clark, the better I think his chances are.

This might well be the case, who knows. Projecting players is hard, but for Clark, I like the cut of his jib.🙂
Moore is a beautiful skater, but his hands, vision & finishing ability will likely never compare to Cooley. Especially since he’s a Wild draft pick, I really like Clark’s jump this year, I think he’s been a key contributor & appears to have that “clutch” gene (he clearly did last night). The kid from Dodge County has also taken a big jump!Moore still runs into coverage and loses possession and his passing skills and vision are just okay.

Looks like Mooney is still injured but Mason Moe makes the U18 team for the Five Nations tournament in Czechia starting today.

From what I can glean, if we see Mooney before Valentines day I’d be surprised
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Would that indicate he accelerated schooling as well? There is a lot going on here.

Eden Prairie has deleted the 1st post, but here it is.

Sounds like he is accelerating schooling, playing his “senior year” at Eden Prairie this winter. One year of juniors, then on campus fall of 2026. Plan for now at least.
Rombach and Moe make Team USA for the World Junior A Challenege, along with John Stout for potential recruits.

Grimes seems to be a player those who love to grind hockey tape are high on. Moves well. Heady player who makes the right first pass. Unlike to provide a ton of offense but can contribute there. Seems like an underrated recruit; maybe a Ryan Johnson type on the high-end.
I’ve been really high on Grimes in the viewings I’ve had of him. I think the Ryan Johnson comparisons aren’t far off, with a little more offensive flare. Definitely someone I’d project to come in 2026-27 at 19 years old instead of 2025-26 at 18. Same goes for Rombach
Friendly reminder that just because they sign their NLI does not guarantee that they’re coming in next season (mostly talking about Grimes here)
Most recent example Beckett Hendrickson
