I think it will start out tight, but the KSC line is just at a different level and special players make special plays at special times. This game will break on a highlight reel play from these guys. The BU goalie is solid, but it’s hard to defend a between the legs drop pass to probably the best hands in hockey. My prediction is this line will make an amazing passing play to break down the D and then drop it to a wide open defenseman cheating into the middle of the slot, either Koster or LaCombe.
Once they are ahead and BU has to open it up, you’ll see a goal or two on an odd man rush and then a ENG to seal it.

Hopefully history repeats itself. In 2001 the Avalanche won the Stanley Cup, the next two years the Gophers went back to back, last year the Avalanche won the Stanley Cup, so this should mean back to back titles for the Gophers.

The Gophers didn't get any luck in the 1st period but are still up 2-1.
Hit two pipes. Had a goal disallowed. A possible 5 minute major on BU was only called 2 minutes.
They played a great period.
Shots on goal were 13-7. Attempted shots were 27-14.
BU better have 5 more gears and the same shitty puck luck the Gophers had to be in this game at the end.
Really feels like they waved that goal off because BU goalie lost his edge trying to push across the crease and started scrambling around.
Gophers head and shoulders better today so far. Get it for boys
