WTH is wrong at the Star Tribune? This is the second day in a row they’ve printed an incorrect score for the Gopher men. Yesterday they had the score of 6-2. Today it’s 4-3? Later in the story they get it right, but the headline score is a mistake.
Guessing someone just wasn't paying enough attention and used the Women's scores instead.

Second, and maybe I'm the only one thinking this right now, but if the Gophs beat ND tonight, I would really prefer to see tOSU beat the BADgers so we get them next week instead of PSU. I wouldn't have a great feeling playing PSU right now in a one and done scenario...
If only there was a site dedicated to Gophers Hockey that has a tab with the schedule. 😉
If we advance, I see your point about Penn St, but at the same time to win a championship you need to beat the teams you play no matter how hot the opponent may be. #Just Win Them All

on the flip side if we would see Penn now and beat them, the revenge game motivation goes to Penn. I think back to when North Dakota beat us in the final 5 and we got another shot at them in the regional. I had a great feeling going into that game that the gophers would advance because of that game previously. Over thinking things? Maybe I am.😁
I am glad that Notre Dame came into this series playing hard and giving it their all. They aren’t playing like a bottom dweller, they didn’t just come into our barn and just roll over. The Gophers are going to be playing the rest of the games this season against teams playing with speed, tempo and desperation. It has been a great series for the gophers in that aspect. I like our chances tonight, let’s get that first goal for once!

I debated even bringing this one up, but didn’t the same thing happen to us in 2007 when Blake Wheeler scored his Broten copycat game winner against the Whioux. I think they turned around and beat us in OT in the Regional Final if I remember correctly….

Its a confidence game for the Gophers, nothing more. I expect they’ll get ur done tonight & it gives us something to watch Sunday night as we ramp down from the HS State tournament.
Notre Dame’s stick work is incredible! It’s like they all are going for a minor in lumber jacking. I’m surprised they haven’t been called for more. *But that isn’t why we are losing.
We looked like ass in the 2nd. Their year over year ability to piss down their leg in this tourney is astounding.
We haven’t looked great since the break on track to finish 4-5 or 4-4-1 with the SO I guess. That plus three weeks off feels like a recipe for disaster.
I am coping so hard right now, but how can anyone be a fan of ND. Most boring brand of hockey. How do you sit down every Friday and Saturday night to watch 2 hours of dump and chase, clutch and grab, 1-4 neutral zone snooze fest.
