@north45 agreed. But hearing Snuggy Sr. Stories was worth it.
Hard work will beat talent, if talent doesn't work hard.
With Michigan State losing to Michigan in OT tonight the Gophers have taken over 1st place in the Big Ten.
The Gophers are now Pairwise #3. Maine lost at home tonight.
The Gophers are 19-4-2 (10-2-1 in the Big Ten)
They have the best Pairwise record (80 %). Michigan State is the only other team in the country over 76% at 18-3-2 with 3 of their wins being in 3 on 3 OTs (2/3 of a win).
To be in 1st place in the Big Ten the best conference in the country (best non conference winning % again this season) along with having the best Pairwise record through 25 games with all the injuries the team has had this season is pretty amazing.

Did the NC$$ change the rule regarding goals on a delayed penalty? I admit I haven't paid attention to the rule changes lately, but the last I knew, a goal scored on a delayed penalty didn't negate the penalty. I ask becuase right before Thomas scored, there was a delayed penalty on ND, but no penalty was announced (or served, for that matter).

yep
That was one of the worst rules. It actually encouraged someone to murder/death/kill to prevent a goal, then serve the 2 minutes. If one half-arsed it, goal AND PK. Not good.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
Huh?
I liked it. Was basically extra power play time. Don’t be dumbass and take penalties. 🤷♀️
I didn't like the double penalty, basically.
Ok, you broke the rules, do your time.
Oh, the other team scored, thereby negating the penalty? NOT ANYMORE!
Double jeopardy. Didn't like it.

Yeah I never liked it either...made zero sense.
A lot of people cite efforts to increase scoring as an argument for it, but in my opinion it didn’t fit. They wanted games to have more scoring, not make it easier to thump someone. I bet it didn’t really increase scoring regardless, but instead increased PIMs due to frustration.
