Getting a new battery is cheap and significantly improved mine.

I hate upgrading to a new phone, so I just replaced the battery last time. I bought the battery on Amazon for about 20 bucks and did it myself. Phone manufacturers don't make it easy to replace the battery, so it's kind of like performing surgery. I think a small tool kit and pry bars were included. Probably took me 30 minutes or so, but it worked great once I got the new battery installed.

After getting Spam Risk calls, they stopped for the longest time. No here in the last month they picked back up...

Spam Risk

Saint Cloud, MN

Spam Risk

Red Wing, MN

And today, both time they left a "butt dial" type msg. of nothing for over a minute.

I was on my parents for quite some time, but it made sense as the as bill split three ways was cheaper for everyone than having two plans, one with two phones and another with one. I paid my third. Eventually a much better deal through a different provider presented itself to my wife and me, along with her sister's family. So, I made the switch. My parents are adults and can pay their own way. LoL

Why would they even make bathroom sinks without overflow drains, let alone someone installing them in their bathrooms?!?!?! Both the bathroom in our basement and master bath have sinks without overflow drains. Just adds to my project list that feels like one step forward, two steps back.

Twice in the last week I was walking into a store behind a Boomer age person who stopped directly in the entrance door with their cart and blocked the whole thing. What makes it crappier is they are the biggest offenders for complaining about younger generations but they’re usually the worst.

Yeah. Found a chest full of cancer yesterday and he gave up on his walk today. It was sudden, unexpected and the hardest thing we’ve had to do to look your dog in the eye while he wags his tail at you and know in an hour he will be gone. But we chose to say goodbye before anything more emergent happened so he didn’t suffer.

Hockey games won’t be the same when we score and nobody comes running to give a high five and get a treat. We taught him that last year when we played ASU…he got 20 treats that weekend I think. ?

So sorry to hear that. Losing a dog is a brutal kind of pain.

We lost a dog to cancer a few years ago and it still hurts.

Cowgirl so sorry to hear about your fur baby. I am an emotional person, kids and dogs make me tear up in an instant. Having to say goodbye with that amount of time is unfathomable for me, at this point in my life I haven’t had to do it that quickly.

One bit of advice I have received on this planet about pets is that we hold onto them longer than we should because of how we want to feel without regard for how they feel. Sounds like you did the right thing for your pooch.

Thank you for the kind words. I’ve reminded many a client that you would rather be a week too early than a day too late when saying goodbye to a pet, but somehow when it’s your own those words don’t really bring much comfort and you still second guess if you could or should have eked out one more night.

Our Westie just turned 12 in December and although he's still about 90% I don't look forward to that eventual decision.

Why in the Twin Cities when there is a car accident and a light pole or stop light gets knocked down and needs to be replaced they replace the knocked out of service item with a new one but they leave the damaged item on the ground for months for someone else to remove the broken item, I have seen multiple damaged items left on the highway on the right side of road out of traffic but left for months for someone else to pick up

:confused2:

Aloha!

Since the pandemic began we've been ordering a lot of stuff from WalMart.com and we always buy $35 worth so we get free shipping. It drives us nuts the way they spread out the delivery. Today FedEx brought us one can of Cream of Chicken soup. I don't know how a company can provide free shipping while sending FedEx out here to the middle of nowhere with a can of soup.

Target does this all the time. It’s become a joke to see how small of items we get in these massive boxes

Yep, third party ordering, etc. I build lists before I order from Amazon, but I also don't really care when I get those items, as long as shipping is free. If I need something THAT bad, I'll go to a brick-n-mortar.

Amazon willingly takes a loss on a lot of items. It's a proven model because Prime members spend infinitely more and their losses on shipping are more than made up for by total sales revenues.

It's definitely true for me.

Yesterday I purchased a slide to digital converter at 9 am and it was at my door by 2 pm. Didn't even have to put pants on.

Ha, you beat me to the harassment joke. The only “Armed Attack” I worry about in my home office was when my cat sat on my keyboard. Or maybe THAT’S harassment? The little :censored: did have a smug look on their face.
