colgate just doesn't look like they have anyone with finishing ability. have had a couple chances, but this was always going to be the game they need to finish a high % of their grade A chances to have a shot. their goalie looking really good so far.
May be tough to put 8 in on this Colgate goalie.

Colgate went 2-1 against Quinnipiac this season.
Notre Dame & Michigan State are thinking we should be in over all these clowns playing the Big Ten yesterday and today.
The NCCA just announced that in effort to make next year's tournament more competitive the tournament will be cut to 8 teams with the Big Ten getting 7 automatic berths.
Apparently Michigan got the memo that PSUs 8-0 win was the largest shutout win in NCAA history and decided they needed to one up it.

Just got back from the games. Saw 20 goals scored, and was bored pretty much all night. After 20 minutes I thought 'Gate might put up a fight. Wow, was I wrong.

Someone must have the game recorded and can video a clip? The butt-ender’s name was Young I believe, the butt-endee was Samoskevich.
It was not caught on video. I’m assuming one of the referees saw it. No one on the Colgate bench was complaining so I’m assuming a chunk of both teams saw it since it happened directly in front of the benches. Samoskevich was laying on the ice in what looked like some serious discomfort and still looking rough after they got him to the bench.
I was happy to see the ugly helmets put out their #1 PP unit and pound out some more goals.
Either the arena has a camera angle we never saw, or a linesman or maybe even an off ice official saw it. Like already mentioned no one complained or tried to argue, my assumption is it definitely occurred and getting the gate was appropriate.

Michigan frightens me. Not that the Gophers can’t and wouldn’t beat them, but I’d rather not play them.
A Michigan rematch would be nerve wracking fun, but it would be the most difficult matchup. While I would feel very confident going against Penn State in a championship game. Championships live forever and you don't get bonus points for having a harder road so I will be rooting for Penn State Today.
Taking the silver lining on this one. I get to see either Penn State or Michigan’s season end tonight!!
