Neymar is going to continue to get fouled all tournament but because he flops like Robbie Earl and cries like a toddler he will rarely get the benefit of the doubt. He’s such a fantastic player that it just takes away from how skilled he is.

Can they go back and look at Marcelo’s slap? I’m surprised none of the referees cause that because that sure looked like a straight Red to me.

When they brought on Douglas Costa the game changed completely. At one point they had Coutinho, Firmino, Neymar, Gabriel Jesus, Douglas Costa, and Casemiro on the field…

Not necessarily where the Icelandic player missed but more how he missed. Basically a chip shot which was missed pretty badly – it looked to be 2 feet above the bar.

He reminds me of a wrestler, low center of gravity but deceptively quick and fast and seems to play with his chin stuck out like he’s triple-dog-daring you to hit him. :shock: :lol:

You may argue specific skills, like the outside of the boot kick he had today. That was a very talented goal. There is no arguing the goal scoring and longevity that Ronaldo has had. He’s closing in on 500 goals for club and country. Quaresma is at 80 some.

That guy was bad lol, the last PK for Iran was a pretty bad call but then he might’ve missed one or two that actually should’ve been PK’s for them. Then there was what should’ve been a red on Ronaldo (you’re not gonna convince me he unintentionally struck the other player). I’m probably forgetting a few things too.
