Moon Knight on Disney+ has been extremely fun so far

That Dirty Black Bag.  Description from Google:

A story over eight long days describes the encounter and clash between two men: McCoy, an apparently incorruptible sheriff with a dark past, and Red Bill, a dirty, taciturn bounty killer trapped in a desire for vengeance that cannot be fulfilled.

This is definitely not your daddy’s spaghetti western, but I’ve enjoyed quite a bit so far through 3 Eps.

I have really enjoyed it too.  I had to dig out my old Moon Knight comic books to show my kids.  I have about 6 Moon Knight comics from the late 70’s and 80’s.  Unfortunately the comic books still aren’t worth that much.

I started watching the first episode of Saul last night and fell asleep.  I’ll try again to watch.  I hate these slow burn shows.  The intros on the episodes really drive me crazy.  Not sure why I got so invested in this show but I will begrudgingly watch to the end.  The show does have it’s moments but they are few and far between IMHO.

I’ve had it on in the background while doing laundry and just sitting down to it now.

Oh, that’s annoying. I have an Apple device so I didn’t have to do anything special to activate, but this describes a workaround that sounds ridiculous. Don’t know if there’s something simpler.

It is equal to Breaking Bad at this point, given you KNOW what the end result is; the journey is the intriguing part, for more than just Saul. It’s an amazing show.

That’s a high bar. Part of the first episode was reestablishing the tone and storylines going into the new season. The end of the first episode and all of the second it’s game on. This is the last season so shits gonna get real quick. There’s also a slow burn that all of the characters use with a controlled emotion and never trying to give to much away to their rivals. There’s a scene with Mike and Gustavo in the trailer that tests that…you can feel their struggle to control their emotions. Kim, Mike, Lalo, Gustavo and Varga are the narrative driving parts and this show is lucky that all 5 actors playing those parts are absolute rock stars.

I have not watched any trailer, nor searched anything about the last season. I wanted to go in blind. Lalo is friggin’ entertaining as all hell. Kim…I don’t know what to really make of her, even at this point. She can go either way (and yes, I’ve heard about the Ice Station Zebra theory). I know Nacho’s fate is the big question. He doesn’t appear in BB, but is mentioned once. Once.

I also went in blind. I have rewatched the last ep of the previous season occasionally on some of my fave series but I don’t think it helps in the end. These complicated series’ have to recap at the beginning and that 3 minute bump is usually plenty good.

This season is building up to a big bang at some point within the MC.  The one thing that doesn’t set right with me though is the thought that Chibs greenlit a war.  I get why he would but I thought he would follow the thinking of Jax to keep a level of peace rather than stir up a war.

The Man Who Fell To Earth has gotten weird.  Not unwatchable weird but it’s out there.

Tehran S1 has been fantastic and I highly recommend.

Angel’s storyline, have NO clue where that’s going, other than the thing with Letty, WTF? And EZ/Marcus…this is really going to get interesting with that combo. I’ll just say that he tries pushing the buttons on EVERY group/cause/etc, as he has always done. I thought the show was hilarious, but YMMV.

He’s one of those people who has the ability to honestly call everyone out on their BS. Even on Afterlife. Some people just see the world through a different lens.

I’m convinced he’s brilliant because people come after him from all positions of every spectrum and he clowns every single one of them every single time. Extremely impressive.

A tad. The Bishop storyline gets curiouser and curiouser.

In the “whoa” moment, I didn’t expect Player A do to what was done. I expected Player B to do that. That was…wow.

And with Angel…in a sense, his lifespan is short, but in a series like this, he’s probably gonna last throughout. He’s just a trainwreck.

Agree with all of that.

Tehran S1 was fantastic, but since they continued the same storyline I’m really hoping they don’t muff it up in S2.

Flea has been in a few movies before. I was actually quite happy he was in here. A “simple pleasure” if you will. Not a good actor, but it’s fun to see him in stuff.

Back to the future 2 right?

Mayans…this is going down the path of no return.

I’ve watched 3 of 6 episodes so far of Pistol – a biographical series based upon the memoirs of Steve Jones who was one of the founding members of the Sex Pistols.  Based upon what I know of the band’s history much of what has been portrayed has been spot on.  Some the actors are dead ringers and I love the fact they’re not using originally recorded music and singing for the musical bits.

Okay, I do have one little bitch about Obi-Wan.  I get he is a broken shell of himself after the events in Revenge of the Sith thinking he killed Anakin.  If we end up getting five episodes of Obi-Wan acting like a little bitch like Luke in Episodes 4 and 5 I am going to be pissed.  Obi-Wan was a top 5 Jedi of all time and now I think he and CP3O may be equals, I’m exaggerating but that’s my point.  Anyway, Obi-Wan’s reconnection with the force better be epic.

I really enjoyed The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix.  I found the Michael Haller character much better done on this show that in the movie played by Matthew McConaughey.
