The Takedown (Netflix streaming, French movie):
Diakité and Monge as police officers who are the complete opposite, and get paired together to uncover an unexpectedly big criminal case.
A combo of Lethal Weapon and Rush Hour, IMO. It was…entertaining enough. LOTS of racial dialogue/populist dialogue. This movie was not shy about it. It kind of took away from the main plot, IMO. Overall, I think they could’ve dialed it back a little on everything, it is rather in your face at times, but that could also be a cultural difference. Good action sequences with fights and a couple decent car chases. Worth a go, if only to satisfy curiosity.
