We watched Senior Year and it was funnier and less “stupid in a bad way” than I would have imagined based upon the trailer. Rotten Tomatoes has savaged it apparently but all 3 of us laughed regularly.
This is pretty much spot on. It was silly-stupid, not stupid-stupid. There were some dashes of “Not Another Teen Movie,” obviously some “Bring It On,” and a bit of “Never Been Kissed,” although I have not seen that last one, I just know of the plot.
It’s a decent afternoon-killer. Short and sweet, it’ll give ya some chuckles.
