Whitelaw commits to Wisconsin, their fourth commit from the 2005 birth year. Starman tweeted as a reply: “Four years from now I’m looking forward to seeing the influx of all of the late bloomer 05’s that wind up on D1 rosters joining the early matriculates. 😁#longtermathletedevelopment.”

A small but fair jab at Wisconsin’s recruiting philosophy, in my opinion. Send out a bunch of offers, commit as many 16 y.o. “blue chippers” as possible, and figure it out later, with last year being an outlier of “success” for them from a team performance standpoint.
