I was a member of the last class to graduate from Golden Valley HS, we played our hockey games at Golden Valley ice center, it was a very scary arena to play hockey on. 3 of the 4 boards had a cement wall right behind boards, I saw a player who fell down on the ice he slid feet first into the boards he broke both of his legs in his fall

I had almost forgotten there was a Golden Valley High School. What was the athletic team’s nickname? I do remember taking in a few games at the GV ice center.
