Reply To: GPL/POI Reunion Skate

Thinking back to the old POI/GPL skates, I’m of the belief that limiting the # of skaters and going for 90 minutes will be more enjoyable than having a ton of skaters and going for 2 hours. Those 2 hour skates got REALLY slow (like, slower than they already were) those last 30 minutes, and while everyone kids about their fitness levels (or lack thereof), having 12+ skaters per side means a lot of time sitting on the bench, especially as shifts get stretched out. Just my $0.02 though.
