Talbot is now 29th in GAA and 23rd in save percentage. I can’t imagine there will be a significant drop off with Kaapo.
The thing about Talbot, to me, with the exception of the WC he would make big, clutch saves.
I didn’t see him as the type of goalie (Gibby, Flower, Quick, etc.) that puts a team on his back for a deep SC run. I do think his time in Alberta was a bit of an outlier though. Better than the previous one but the future will likely be the Finn & Swede.
