Costa Rica is usually a pretty solid team. Very stingy defensively. They came into tonight in 4th out of 8 spots in this qualifying round, I believe.

They are a very veteran team, 6 players over 30. Their keeper, Keylor Navas, is one of the better keepers in the world.


All of the US starters were younger than the youngest Costa Rican starter. They also don’t have the depth of the US.
