It’s sad Messi retired from Argentina. Watching him play in the last World Cup was a simple pleasure. That goal against Iran was absurd.

Edit: apparently he didn’t say it, but the Argentinian president is confident that he’ll be back after talking to him.
Good. It seemed like a rash emotion based decision after having a real tough two years losing to Chile twice and Germany. Argentina is still a threat in any tournament they play.
His tax issues in Spain seem like a much larger problem than Argentina losing, at least at the moment.
