Someone mentioned following the loss to Columbia (must have been a different thread) that the US would only play 3 games this tournament. I don’t point that out to mock them (I thought it might be a reasonable prediction) but because it’s been such a nice turnaround in form since that match. Hopefully this will be a springboard for better results when WC qualifications resume because they’ve put themselves into a bit of a hole on that front.
