I’ve got a big problem with ants around my house. Something about the soil that they just love, so I use ant killer all over the yard all spring/summer.

I put out ant baits around the windows that are just above ground level, and by the front and back doors to try to snare any of them that do make it in the house, and only ever see a couple individuals inside over the course of the year, so it seems to be working.
