Do you guys think there are more of these kind of solicitations than in recent years? Asking because I wonder if the increase in door to door is a direct result of people not answering their phones. Not saying it’s right just wondering.
That could certainly be part of it. However, I’m guessing another part is that land lines are significantly less common than they were even ten years ago. With a land line, telemarketers could target a city or neighborhood using an area code and prefix. You can’t do that with cell phones.
