The last 2-3 weeks it feels like every other night someone has come to our door in the evening trying to sell a service or raise money for some god-forsaken cause.
We removed our doorbell battery. They knock, which causes my dog to go crazy and wake up our 1 year old. They are coming between 6:00 and 8:30 My daughter goes to bed at 7:00. We put out a sign that says no solicitors, and they cannot read. Several don’t take no for an answer and I have to shut the door in their face. Several are pushy and want to come IN my house for their sales pitch – how about NO!
Aptive is the worst. I flat out ignore them, they just come back later the same night or the next night. I tell them not to come back, and they send a different guy the next week.
It is getting out of control, last night we had 2 different companies show up within 30 minutes of each other.
Any suggestions?
