Are these by change arc fault breakers? A noisy motor on a saw could trip an entire panel of breakers. Not through a short but through the noise looking like an arc.
By noise you mean electrical noise – choppy current or voltage wave form as a result of worm brushes or windings – not actual sound vibration right? That sounds obvious but electrical stuff is a bit like magic to me.
And as a homeowner how would I know if that was happening? How could an electrician tell? Would he need an oscilloscope? Or easier way.
