Hurricane Ida is forecast to make landfall as a Category 3 storm in the New Orleans area on Sunday. Sunday is the 16th anniversary of Katrina’s landfall.
Some models are predicting it to be Cat 4 before landfall. Apparently there’s a lot of heat in the water of the gulf right now.
