Everyone has their own opinion. You can do Netflix on the PS3 and it plays Blu-Rays and DVDs as I mentioned. If you want to use it for online gaming, the Playstation Network(PSN) is free whereas XBox Live you pay a yearly fee. It’s is all a matter of preference.

If you are mainly going to use the console for Netflix/movies, PS3 is definitely the way to go. Blu-ray is awesome.
