::The Fireman’s softball tournament in Bloomington. Even though there are some things I don’t enjoy (namely playing on fields without fences for half of your games) I always have a great time there. The weather was great this year and the rain we got during the week actually made the open fields more tolerable. Usually by mid-July the grass in those open fields is beyond dead so if you hit a ball that gets between or over the outfielders it rolls half a mile. The rain on Wednesday livened it up so balls slowed down enough a few times to actually be played.
The big beer mugs and corn roast helps too 🤣
